Bursary Fund NAYC / ACUK

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the possibility of Bursary funding for your students and young individuals.  We are dedicated to facilitating meaningful experiences for children, enabling them to partake in transformative adventures at our various centres.

Who can apply?

  • Teachers and group leaders can apply for students/ young people aged, 8-21, as a member of a visiting group.

Who can receive funding?

  • Young people in genuine need and unable to afford the cost of the residential.
  • Students / young people eligible for free school meals or facing financial need.

What can be funded?

  • Specific individual students/ young people
  • A whole group booking.

Application Timeline:

  • Submit applications at least 18 weeks prior to your visit or check with the centre at the time of booking.

Excluded Dates:

  • Bursary funding is not available during the peak season; 1 May to the 24 July each year.

General Info:

  • NAYC/ ACUK Bursary Fund POTENTIALL relies on the kindness and generosity of voluntary donations, therefore the amount varies yearly.
  • Please investigate other funding sources e.g. Pupil Premium prior to your bursary funding application.
  • Applications are reviewed carefully, please submit as much supporting material as possible.
  • Our bursary fund excludes transport, off-site visits, and personal equipment costs.
  • Please note all applications will be reviewed and checked by our funding committee.
  • Decisions are final, there is no appeal process.
  • The amount granted will be reflected in the invoice.
  • Please note cancellations within our ‘cancellation period’ are subject to our usual bookings terms and conditions and charges apply. We cannot guarantee we will be able to transfer bursary funding to rescheduled dates.
  • If a late cancellation is made the Bursary Fund cannot cover the non-refundable deposit.
